One of the most unusual and mysterious archaeological sites in modern-day Mexico lies on the summit of Monte Alban. The city is believed to have been built sometime around 500 BC, and it features some of the most oddly shaped structures of the ancient world.
Archaeologists estimate that no more than 15 percent of the ancient site has been uncovered so far. The city is located on top of an artificially flattened mountaintop, raising numerous questions and enigmas.
Monte Alban is a mountain where its top seems to have been literally cut off and leveled, to make an extremely flat tabletop mountain. The most interesting part is that built on this massive flat area, an ancient culture built a huge city.
Monte Alban is considered as one of the most iconic and influential cities to have ever existed in Mesoamerica.
It existed for thousands of years until in the 8th century the entire city was mysteriously abandoned.
The city itself, located on an ‘artificially flattened hilltop’ is located four hundred meters above the altiplano of the Oaxaca Valley. The fact that the city is situated on an artificially flattened mountaintop raises many questions.

How did the builders of the city flatten a mountaintop? Furthermore, where did all the remaining material go to?
What sort of technology was used? Its builders managed somehow to flatten an area the size of more than 50 football fields, resulting in a massive plateau, eerily similar to the one found in Giza, Egypt.
While the origins of the massive city built atop the flattened mountaintop are hotly debated, it is believed that at its peak, Monte Alban was the capital of the mighty Zapotec Empire, and was home to more than 35,000 inhabitants, who lived mostly on the terraced slopes of the mountain dedicated to agriculture.

The ancient name of this city founded by the Zapotecs at the end of the Late Preclassic is the subject of discussions. It is known that the Mexicas called the city; Ocelotepec, which can be translated to Monte Jaguar or Monte del Jaguar.
Its Spanish name of Monte Albán was given by the Spaniards, during the Spanish Conquest due to the similarity of the landscape with the mountains in Italy.
It is also believed that Monte Alban may have been under the control of the ancient city of Teotihuacan during the fourth century.
The city features a wide range of massive buildings and Pyramidal structures. Monte Alban also featured an astronomical observatory.
It is well-known that astronomical observation gave the pre-Hispanic society the necessary knowledge to calculate the cycles of agriculture, the changes of season, the proximity of the rains, the times of collection of medicinal plants; as well as to predict future events and to orient the constructions, streets, avenues, and squares towards the cardinal points.
In the Great Plaza at Monte Alban, we find two buildings that experts say, served as astronomical observatories: Building J and P.
Building J, for example, is located on the center of the main plaza of the ancient city and is characterized by a strange arrow-like shape. Furthermore, what makes it even more mysterious is its orientation: it differs from all other structures built at Monte Alban.

Another fascinating detail about this ancient city is the sheer number of stelae that have been recovered from the site.
So far, archaeologists have identified several stelae in Monte Alban that contain on their surface exclusively written text, in the form of hieroglyphs, which have no animal or human figures represented.
These stelae are located outside the buildings and commemorate important events in the history of the city.
However, the interesting part is that some of these stelae way up to ten tons, which raises the question as to how the ancient managed to transport these massive stone slabs to Monte Alban.
Another fascinating detail is that written on the surface of these massive stelae we find sculpted hieroglyphs which represent numbers.
This fact alone shows that the inhabitants of the region had a great mathematical and astronomical knowledge of which we know very little.
One of the stelae, the largest in Monte Albán, measures approximately six meters in height and is astronomically oriented, perfectly aligned to the north with the Polar Star.

Have you ever heard about the so-called Shadow People?
These mysterious creatures have been referred to by those who claim to have seen them as either interdimensional beings, ghosts, time travelers and even possibly aliens.
People who claimed to have seen them aren’t sure what they had seen.
In fact, numerous descriptions of the shadow people suggest that they come out of nowhere.
While you are sitting there watching TV, you notice a strange movement across the room. It appeared dark and shadowy, but there was nothing there, you are alone. Is it your mind playing tricks on you? Or is it your imagination running wild? You doubt yourself until you it happens again.
It gives you goosebumps.
You are unsure as to what you had witnessed, and you start to ask yourself, sh*t, are ghosts real?
The Shadow People, how do you describe what you cannot accurately see?
The aspect of these beings is usually the body of a creature of great height, capable of scurrying at great speed through the rooms or even trespassing walls.
These sightings seem to occur randomly, as people read, watched television or did any other day-to-day activity in their homes.
The silhouettes passed quickly, barely in a split second to disappear without being fully seen.
On numerous occasions, people who claimed to have seen these mysterious shadows say had seen an arm, a leg or even a pair of eyes, especially at night.
While they slept, strange shadows burst into their rooms, causing intense terror. The sightings made people question their sanity.
People can’t agree unanimously as to what they look like, although they are generally described as lacking in mass.
However, their specific nature varies from two-dimensional (as a shadow) to vaporous or distorted.
Their movement is sometimes reported as very fast and without order, or “shaky,” in the sense that they first seem to move like a fluid (thick, similar to jelly instead of water), and quickly move elsewhere, almost as if they were reporting.
The only thing that people do agree on is that these mysterious shapes appear at the edge of the field of vision, and they disintegrate or move to the walls once they are seen, usually in a second.
Although, many reports that shadow people appear at the center of their vision, appearing very close to them or standing for several seconds before disappearing.
Those who thought that shadow people are the result of modern folklore are wrong. In fact, there are a number of religions and legends that describe these mysterious beings. In the past, they were described as shades of the underworld, lost souls, while in modern times people are usually more inclined to explain them as interdimensional beings that ripped through our reality.
Scientists have tried attributing the so-called shadow people apparitions to several physiological and psychological conditions which may result in people actually experiencing shadows come to life.
Sleep deprivation is also usually connected to sightings of shadow people.
However, not many people are convinced that science can explain these beings, arguing that it goes beyond our understanding of space and time.
An interesting theory suggests that the so-called shadow people are actually Astral bodies. The theory indicates that shadows or ‘essences’ are actually people who are having an out-of-body experience.
According to Jerry Gross, an author, lecturer, and teacher of astral travel, we all travel out of the body when we are asleep. Perhaps, this theory says, we are seeing the ephemeral astral bodies of these twilight travelers.
Others ay that shadow-people are in fact aliens. Curiously, those who have claimed to have been abducted by extraterrestrial beings often claim that their abductors—the aliens—had the ability to move through walls and closed doors, and they could appear on one place and disappear in a second. Those who have seen shadow people often make the same claims.
Some also say that shadow people are time travelers and what people are seeing are in fact glimpses of an alternate timeline.
Those who believe in ghost stories would say that shadow people are in act ghosts. However, those who have seen the shadow people claim that they are different than ghosts. While ghosts are misty white, with a cloud-like form and a human form, the shadow people are dark, shadowy creatures.
And while the exact nature of the shadow people remains a mystery, skeptics argue that they are the result of an overactive imagination.
Skeptics argue that our mind plays tricks on us. It makes our eyes see things that aren’t usually there. Our mind causes us to hallucinate, creating illusions next to us that seem very real.
Unfortunately, there is no way to prove–or disprove for that matter– theories about shadow people and their sightings, which occur quickly and without warning.
Furthermore, since science finds it practically impossible to study this type of supernatural phenomena, nor do scientists seem particularly inclined to do so, all we can do is document the countless personal experiences and try to understand, as much as possible, what people who have claimed to have seen these beings, actually witnessed.
Maybe the existence of shadow people is something that can easily be explained, although their existence may also prove that there are things in our world which we have yet to discover and understand.
Manna—also known as Mana—was a mysterious substance which was, according to the Bible, sent by God and given to the Israelites as they traveled in the desert during their ‘forty-year’ period following the Exodus.
In the Bible, it explains how the Israelites got from Egypt, where they’d been slaves, to the Promised Land.
They had to cross the Sinai Desert. And inevitably, given that there was a lot of Israelites and very little growing, as it was a desert, they ran short on supplies. At this point, in order to prevent the population from starving, God sent down Manna from heaven.
As it fell to Earth, Manna is described as some kind of seed. These seeds were connected the day after they had fallen to Earth. Manna provided food for the Israelites every day except Friday, since on Saturday—the Sabbath—it did not fall.
In the Biblical book of the Exodus, it is written that Manna appeared every night and every morning after the dew had disappeared and that it had to be collected before the heat of the sun melted it.
According to historical accounts, Manna arrived with the dew, at night.
The manna is described as a kind of seed similar to that of the coriander, white, which after being ground and baked resembled wafers with honey, although in some accounts it is described as being the same color as Indian myrrh.
If we take a look at the Hebrew Bible, we will find two descriptions referring to Manna.
We find the first description in Exodus 16:1–36 and once again in Numbers 11:1–9.
In Exodus, manna is described as “a fine, flake-like thing” similar to the frost on the ground. In Exodus Manna is described as being similar to hoarfrost in color. The ‘Food’ had to be gathered before it melted by the sun. Exodus describes manna as tasting like wafers that had been prepared with honey.

In the Book of Numbers Manna is detailed as arriving with the dew during the night. In Numbers, we find details of Manna resembling bdellium—a semi-transparent oleo-gum-resin extracted from trees growing in Ethiopia, Eritrea and sub-SaharanAfrica.

So, basically, Manna was a food sent by God, to keep the population from starving. But we still don’t know what it was.
In the book of Exodus, we find that the Israelites were told only to eat manna they had gathered for each day as stored mana “bred worms and stank.”
However, curiously, manna stored the day before the Sabbath did not spoil overnight, as it clearly states in Exodus16:23–24:
This is what the Lord commanded: “Tomorrow is to be a day of rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord. So, bake what you want to bake and boil what you want to boil. Save whatever is left and keep it until morning.” So, they saved it until morning, as Moses commanded, and it did not stink or get maggots in it.
So, what is Manna? Is it a naturally abundant food provided by God or, as some believe?

Some believe that the Zohar—a collection of spiritual commentaries and interpretations of the Torah and is central to the mystical Kabbalah belief written in the 13th century may offer more details about this mysterious food source.
In the Zohar, we find descriptions of what is referred to as the Ancient of Days providing Manna.
According to the Book of Daniel AncientofDays is a name for God. In Eastern OrthodoxChristian hymns and icons, the AncientofDays is sometimes identified with God the Father or occasionally The Holy Spirit.
As noted by ancient astronaut theorists, the Zohar describes different-sized brains, different-sized faces that were connected with different tubes and different light sources.
And despite the fact that theologians have suggested that this is a description of God, ancient astronaut theorists argue that from a modern perspective, what is described in the Zohar isn’t necessarily a god figure, but rather a type of machine: A machine that somehow produced ‘manna’ a mysterious food source that has still not been identified, despite the fact that numerous historical accounts suggest it was real.
The Manna machine theory offers two explanations as to where the Israelites may have gotten it from.
One suggests they stole it from the Egyptians before their exodus, while the other, more controversial one suspect’s extraterrestrials gave it to them as a humanitarian gesture, to prevent their starvation in the desert.
Either way, the answer, like the Ark of the Covenant, seems lost to history.
Manna Machine
In 1978 George Sassoon and Rodney Dale wrote a book which was based upon a translation of the section of the Zohar a called “The Ancient of Days”. In the book, the authors conclude that Manna was produced by a machine that had created algae as food for human beings in biblical times. The so-called Manna machine was eventually reproduced by George who was an engineer, who is said to have followed the directions given in The Ancient of Days. After creating the machine, he claimed it created a food source of algae.
Furthermore, This explains how the Israelis survived their forty year journey in the Sinai Desert. It is said by Sassoon and Dale that a nuclear reactor used to power the manna machine was stored within the Ark of the Covenant.

Have you ever heard about the Akashic Records? Supposedly, the Akashic Records are a massive cosmic library where everything that has ever existed, and that will ever exist, is stored: it is like a massive memory bank, located outside the boundaries of time and space.
It is believed that the Akashic records contain all the knowledge and experiences of our soul acting as a supercomputer of cosmic information where we can access information on our past lives, the present and future possibilities (forming part of the theory of reincarnation), as well as the sense of our existence.
Every moment, every test, every feeling and thought, everything would be manifested there.
But these records do not hold only information about the human soul, supposedly, the Akashic records would also possess the knowledge of the whole universe, from the beginning of life to the last future possibilities manifested from the microcosm and the macrocosm, since it is a complete universal memory. From a Theosophical and Anthroposophical point of view, we understand that the Akashic records are a summary of all human events, thoughts, words, emotions, and intent ever to have occurred in the past, present, or future: the perfect tool for a Prophet and Seer.
The idea that such a cosmic memory bank exists has fascinated scholars and philosophers since time immemorial.
Akasha or ākāśa is a term for either space or ætherin traditional Indian cosmology.
In ancient Sanskrit, it is used to describe the ‘ether’ (æther), which is an impalpable, immaterial, subtle and intangible fluid, which the ancient Hindus believed exists across and ‘inside’ the entire universe and would be the vehicle of sound and life.
As noted by Crystal Links, in Surat Shabda Yoga cosmology, the Akashic Records would be located within the causal plane of Trikuti. Believers in the Akasha make many claims about how widely the Akasha was used, including:
The claim that the Vedas of Hindus and the language of Sanskrit itself were extracted from Akasha.
The claim that in Egypt, those who could read the Akasha were held in high standing and would advise the Pharaohs on daily activities and dream interpretation.
The claim that the Druid cultures of Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England demonstrated the ability to access the Akasha.
The claim that the Bible refers to the Akasha records as the Book of Life in both the Old Testament (Psalm 69:28) and the New Testament (Philippians 4:3, Revelation 3:5, 13:8, 17:8, 20:12, 20:15 and Revelation 21:27 “Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”)
Alice A. Bailey wrote in her book Light of the Soul on The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali – Book 3 – Union achieved and its Results (1927):
The akashic record is like an immense photographic film, registering all the desires and earth experiences of our planet. Those who perceive it will see pictured thereon: The life experiences of every human being since time began, the reactions to experience of the entire animal kingdom, the aggregation of the thought-forms of a karmic nature (based on desire) of every human unit throughout time. Herein lies the great deception of the records. Only a trained occultist can distinguish between actual experience and those astral pictures created by imagination and keen desire.
In other words, we can define the Akashic Records as the ‘data’ that in theory exists in a single place, in a non-physical way, outside of time and space. The Akashic records can also be summed up as a kind of infinite memory (of everything that has happened since the beginning of time) that has become embedded and registered in the ether.

Tapping into the cosmic library
So, if such a library exists, is there a way we can access it? Tap into this information, passing all boundaries and discovering things we were perhaps better off not knowing?
If you think about the Akashic Records, and important people in history like Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, and Baba Vanga, you can’t help and wonder whether they may have something in common.
If the Akashic records contain all the knowledge and history of the whole universe, from the beginning of life to the last future possibilities manifested from the microcosm and the macrocosm, then accessing this cosmic library means that he who access it would have infinite information available to him.
If everything that has happened, that is happening and that is yet to happen is located within this supposed cosmic library, then accessing it would mean that person would know of future events that are yet to happen.
He or she would become a seer. A Prophet. A person who has access to information others do not.
Nostradamus—one of the most notorious seers in the history of Earth
In 1555 in France, Michel de Nôtre-Dame, aka Nostradamus. began to write a series of mysterious verses, full of strange ideas, strange information. It is claimed that these were astonishing predictions of future events on Earth. Through his work, it is believed that Nostradamus managed to predict cataclysms and disasters hundreds of years before they happened.
Furthermore, it is also claimed that Nostradamus predicted the entire world history since his death up to now, and well beyond.
The French Physician and apothecary is credited with having predicted the Great Chicago Fire of 1871 and the rise of Hitler in the 1930’s. He also predicted Sept. 11, 2001, when he wrote: Earthshaking fire from the center of the Earth Will cause tremors around the New City. Two great rocks will war for a long time; Then Arethusa will redden a new river.
The man is also credited for predicting the Moon Landing, the assassination of J.F.K., and the nuclear bomb.
So how did he do it? Were his predictions the result of poems and personal writings that have wrongly been interpreted?
Or, is it possible, as some authors suggest, that Nostradamus did, in fact, manage to predict the future? And he did so by tapping into a mysterious cosmic energy: The Akashic Records.
Edgar Cayce—the other Nostradamus
Called by many as the sleeping prophet, Edgar Cayce has remained as one of the most popular seers despite the fact that not many know of his work.
He devoted his life to research topics related to the embodiment, clairvoyance, UFOs, Atlantis, spirituality, and healing, among many others.
Just as Nostradamus, he seemed to have had the incredible gift of seeing things that are yet to happen, many years into the future. He announced the awakening of one or both volcanoes Vesuvius and Etna.
In 1934, he predicted that the majority of Japanese territory would slide into the sea. Curiously, Japanese geologist Nobichico Obara argues that Japan is constantly sinking into the sea, two to three centimeters per year.
So how did he do it? Is it possible that just as Nostradamus, Cayce too managed to access the Akashic Records?
Just as Nostradamus and Cayce, Baba Vanga, a blind mystic from Bulgaria, predicted incredible things from the future.
The Bulgarian is referred to by many authors as the Nostradamus of the 21st century. Somehow, she managed to predict the 9/11 terror attacks, the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami, and she also warned the world about the rise of the terrorist group ISIS, decades ago.
9/11 according to Baba Vanga:
“Horror, horror! The American brethren (believed to be a reference to the two ‘brother’ towers) will fall after being attacked by the steel birds (thought to be the two hijacked passenger planes). “The wolves will be howling in a bush (believed to be a reference to then US president George Bush) and innocent blood will gush.”
She also managed to predict the tragic fate of the Russian Submarine the Kursk in 2000;
“At the turn of the century, in August of 1999 or 2000, Kursk will be covered with water, and the whole world will be weeping over it.”
It was believed in ancient and medieval times that aether, also commonly spelled ether, was a mysterious material that filled the region of the cosmos above the terrestrial sphere.
It was a mysterious element, and the concept of ether was used to describe a number of natural phenomena, including light and how it traveled, as well as gravity.
It was believed in the past that aether was one of the primordial elements of the cosmos. In fact, in the late nineteenth century, scientists postulated that aether permeated all throughout space, allowing a medium through which light traveled in the vacuum.
However, later experiments failed to prove this.
In ancient Greek mythology, Ether was referred to as the pure essence that the gods breathed, filling the space where they lived, analogous to the air breathed by mortals.
Plato makes mention of Aether in his work as well.
If we take a look at Timaeus—where Plato mentions the existence of Atlantis—the Greek philosopher speaks about air and explains that “there is the most translucent kind which is called by the name of aether (αίθηρ)”
The term appears both in Aristotelian physics and in the old electromagnetic theory of the late nineteenth century.
For Aristotle (384-322 BC) the ether was the material of which the so-called supralunar world was composed, while the sublunary world is made up of the known four elements: earth, water, air, and fire.
Unlike these, ether was, for Aristotle, a more subtle and lighter element, more perfect than the other four (Aristotle’s physics is qualitative, rather than quantitative) and, above all, its natural movement is circular, unlike the natural movement of the other four, which is rectilinear.
The element was also mentioned in Ancient Hindu philosophy.
In India, the ether is known as akasha. In Sankhya cosmology, the pañcha mahā bhūta (five main elements) is spoken of, each one eight times more subtle than the previous one: Earth (bhumi) Water (apu). Fire (agní). Air (vāyu). Ether (ākāśa). Samkhya or Sankhya is one of the six āstikaschools of Hindu philosophy, mostly related to the Yoga school of Hinduism.
Nikola Tesla, one of the greatest minds to ever live on Earth, also made reference to Aether saying: “All matter comes from a primary substance, the luminiferous ether”.

It was widely disseminated in China and India, where it forms the basis of both Buddhism and Hinduism.
During the Middle Ages the term aether, precisely because it is the fifth material element recognized by Aristotle, began to be called the fifth element, or also qüinta essentia, from which comes the expression quintessence (used in the current cosmology to refer to dark energy).
Aether was also heavily connected to Gravitation.
In fact, it was used in one of Sir Isaac Newton’s first published theories of gravitation, called the Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica (the Principia). In his work, Sir Isaac Newton based the entire description of planetary motion on a theoretical law of dynamic interactions. As noted in “Newton’s views on Aether and Gravitation,” Newton renounced standing attempts at accounting for this particular form of interaction between distant bodies by introducing a mechanism of propagation through an intervening medium and called this intervening medium the Aether.
In addition, Newton describes aether as a medium that “flows” continually downward toward the Earth’s surface and is partially absorbed and partially diffused. This “circulation” of aether is what he associated the force of gravity with to help explain the action of gravity in a non-mechanical fashion.
