When you read texts written thousands of years ago and find them mentioning flying chariots, fire, smoke, and mysterious beings, you can’t help and wonder whether or not the ancients were actually speaking about alien visitations. We find written evidence about how the prophet Elijah was kidnapped by “a chariot of fire”. As we read through these incredible historical accounts, we find countless questions with little to no answers. Where did Enoch and Elijah go? Why did they disappear mysteriously and without a trace? What exactly did Ezekiel see and describe? And is there even a remote possibility that the Bible proves—in one way or another—the existence of Ancient Alien Contact? Let’s take a look at Enoch and his mysterious disappearance mentioned in Genesis 5: 18:24. We turn to Biblehub and see what was written down in the past. Genesis 5: 24 is of crucial importance as it clearly mentions that God Took Enoch away. It does not mention Enoch died. It mentions he was, in some way, abducted. This is actually important because we can see in Genesis 5 3:23, that Adam, who had lived for 930 died. Seth, Adam’s son lived for 912 years and died. Enosh, Seth’s son, is believed to have lived for 905 years and died. All the way until Enoch, (Genesis 5:24) Adam’s descendants died after living extremely longevous life’s. However, Enoch did not die, as it is written down in Genesis: “Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more because God took him away.” The question remains, where did he go? Where was Enoch taken to? And who took him away? Was it really God? Prophet Elijah’s disappearance If we take a look at 2 Kings 2:13 we will find another incredible story. Again we turn towards Bible Hub to see what was written down in the past. 1Shortly before the LORD took Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal, 2and Elijah said to Elisha, “Please stay here, for the LORD has sent me on to Bethel.” But Elisha replied, “As surely as the LORD lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel. 3Then the sons of the prophets at Bethel came out to Elisha and said, “Do you know that the LORD will take your master away from you today?” “Yes, I know,” he replied. “Do not speak of it.” 4And Elijah said to Elisha, “Please stay here, for the LORD has sent me on to Jericho.” But Elisha replied, “As surely as the LORD lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went to Jericho. 5Then the sons of the prophets at Jericho came up to Elisha and said, “Do you know that the LORD will take your master away from you today?” “Yes, I know,” he replied. “Do not speak of it.” 6And Elijah said to Elisha, “Please stay here, for the LORD has sent me on to the Jordan.” But Elisha replied, “As surely as the LORD lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So the two of them went on. 7Then a company of fifty of the sons of the prophets went and stood at a distance, facing Elijah and Elisha as the two of them stood by the Jordan. 8And Elijah took his cloak, rolled it up, and struck the waters, which parted to the right and to the left so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground. 9After they had crossed over, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken away from you?” “Please, let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” Elisha replied. 10“You have requested a difficult thing,” said Elijah. “Nevertheless, if you see me as I am taken from you, it will be yours. But if not, then it will not be so.” 11As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire with horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up into heaven in a whirlwind. 12As Elisha watched, he cried out, “My father, my father, the chariots and horsemen of Israel!” And he saw Elijah no more. So taking hold of his own clothes, he tore them in two. The above information can be interpreted in a number of ways. From an ancient Astronaut point of view, it seems clear that we may just have read about misinterpreted technologies. Things that people thousands of years ago did not understand, and therefore attributed to God the Almighty. From a Biblical point of view, however, there are important details to consider. Why did Enoch disappear? Why was he taken from Earth? He did not die, so where did he go? In order to answer these questions, Biblical scholars argue we must keep in mind that this specific patriarch is the seventh on the list of descendants of Adam. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a heavenly chariot with horses of fire descended from the sky, picked up Elijah and disappeared in the sky, before the amazement of Elisha and others who witnessed the otherworldly phenomenon.
