This is the result of a set of Radiocarbon dating tests performed on material found in the newest entrances to the tunnels discovered in the Ravne 2 park. The new ‘exciting discoveries’ were made by members of the “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun” foundation, while exploring new entrances to the tunnels on new plots in the “Ravne 2″ park, which were acquired earlier this year. The discoverer of the Pyramid complex, author and researcher Dr. Semir Osmanagić spoke about the latest results: “According to the results of the examination of stalagmites found in the new tunnels, we discovered an antiquity of 26,200 years old. It means that these entrances and tunnels, which until now have remained hidden from the public, go deep into the past of the region.” “When we add the time needed to prepare the base for the creation of stalagmites and corrections for calibrated age to the radiocarbon age, we arrive at about 32,000 years.” “This is exactly the age of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun and the underground tunnels of Ravne, and they are all part of the same culture,” concluded Osmanagić, speaking to Dnevni Avaz. A number of activities have been carried out this year. Osmanagić explains that excavation works began on the eastern side of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, and tourists from all over the world, as well as a large number of volunteers, have occupied Visoko again.
“Our guests do not stay in Visoko for just a few hours, they remain for around seven days,” Osmanagić said. The Bosnian Pyramids have given us a lot to talk about in recent years. In fact, in the past, I’ve even visited the Pyramids myself and got to meet Mr. Osmanagić. The tunnels themselves are amazing. I remember before entering them, I had stomach problems that began a few days before I visited the Pyramids. I entered the tunnels and somehow, my stomach issues disappeared. As I explored the tunnels with Dr. Osmanagić, my closest friends and a number of tourists from around the world, I completely forgot about my stomach issues. Some say that the tunnels beneath and around the Pyramid have healing properties, and it is because of the negative ions present in the chambers. Energy screenings show that the ionization level has over 43,000 negative ions which are about 200 times higher than the average concentration which makes these underground chambers display healing properties. Whether or not that mysterious energy flux exists, and if the pyramids really do have some sort of healing power I can’t say. But I can tell you that once I entered the Tunnels all my stomach issues disappeared. My wife who was accompanying me on the trip had allergy problems. As we explored Visoko, her allergy got worse, and at one point she couldn’t stop sneezing. Once we were in the tunnels, it was as if her allergy had miraculously disappeared.
