The world of UFOs or UAPs (whatever you care to call them) continues to gain more credibility in the mainstream. And, two recent articles from the New York Times<\/em> are once again pushing the boundaries.<\/p>\n

Now, we\u2019re going from acknowledging unidentified aerial phenomena are real to suggesting the government knows about specific \u201coff-world\u201d vehicle crash debris.<\/p>\n

One Times<\/em>\u00a0report is entitled,<\/a>\u00a0\u201cNo Longer in Shadows, Pentagon\u2019s UFO. Unit Will Make Some Findings Public.\u201d The report created a big stir by confirming the over a decade-long study of UAPs in a program within the Office of Naval Intelligence.\u00a0<\/p>\n

UFO Findings to Be Made Public?<\/h3>\n

A\u00a0Senate committee report<\/a>\u00a0revealed spending for the program, the Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force. Excitingly, some of the findings are to be made public 180 days after passage of the intelligence authorization act.<\/p>\n

Before this report, the Pentagon had claimed they disbanded efforts to study unidentified flying objects. Today, the Pentagon refuses to discuss the program since it deals with classified material. However, we are now certain the government continues to study the phenomena, with a focus on discovering if other nations have leapfrogged our aviation technologies.<\/p>\n

Senator Marco Rubio revealed that he wanted to know about potential security risks posed by objects flying over military bases. Rubio confirmed he\u2019d seen reports on unidentified aerial phenomena for \u201cthe better part of a decade.\u201d Interestingly, he claims to want to make any information learned public \u201cas much as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cI would say that frankly if it\u2019s something outside this planet, that might actually be better than the fact that we\u2019ve seen some technological leap on behalf of the Chinese or the Russians or some other adversary,\u201d said Senator Rubio.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Off-World Vehicles<\/h3>\n

The Times<\/em> article also mentions former Senate majority leader, Harry Reid, who recently spoke to famous investigative journalist George Knapp for 8News Las Vegas.<\/em><\/p>\n

In the July interview, Reid says nobody knows the origin of UFOs.\u00a0However, Reid was quoted\u00a0in the\u00a0Times\u00a0<\/em><\/a>as saying he\u2019s seen \u201csubstantive\u201d reports of \u201cactual materials that the government and the private sector had in their possession.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Times\u00a0<\/em>also quotes astrophysicist Eric W. Davis, a consultant for the once-secret program that Reid initiated in Las Vegas.\u00a0The\u00a0Times<\/em>\u00a0first disclosed\u00a0<\/a>the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program\u2019s (AATIP) existence in 2017, which started in 2007.<\/p>\n

Davis claims he briefed the Pentagon and Congress as recently as March about \u201coff-world vehicles not made on this earth.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the\u00a0Times<\/em>\u00a0article was published, Reid tweeted that he never suggested the government has \u201cflying objects or debris from other worlds.\u201d Then, the Times<\/em> added a correction on July 24 that states:<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cMr. Reid said he believed that crashes of objects of unknown origin may have occurred and that retrieved materials should be studied; he did not say that crashes had occurred and that retrieved materials had been studied secretly for decades,\u201d states the\u00a0Times.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Although Reid does not believe that UFOs necessarily point to extraterrestrials, he attempted to learn more by starting another program in 2009. That effort intended to interact with other secret programs to find out if rumors of UFO materials held by corporations were true. However, he explains the program wasn\u2019t approved.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cNow, I wanted to make sure that that was valid or not valid. The Defense Department wouldn\u2019t approve it,\u201d Reid told Knapp.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat do you think of that,\u201d responded Knapp. \u201cDo you think somebody\u2019s got pieces or a craft?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I don\u2019t know, George,\u201d said Reid. \u201cI don\u2019t know why they wouldn\u2019t want to put this to sleep unless there\u2019s something to it that I don\u2019t understand,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u2018Need to Know\u2019 Crash Information?<\/h3>\n

A\u00a0more recent Times<\/em> report<\/a>\u00a0from the same team of journalists that disclosed AATIP in 2017 delved further into the possibility the government might possess UFO crash material. Although any public evidence remains unknown, the report states the words \u201coff-world\u201d and \u201cand materials retrieved from crashes\u201d are used to describe phenomena in unclassified slides used in briefings.<\/p>\n

The report also\u00a0clearly states:<\/a><\/p>\n

\n

\u201cNumerous associates of the Pentagon program, with high-security clearances and decades of involvement with official UFO investigations, told us they were convinced such crashes have occurred, based on their access to classified information. But the retrieved materials themselves, and any data about them, are completely off-limits to anyone without clearances and a need to know.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
