Rogers, 43, shot her boyfriend, Steven Mineo, 32, in the head. She claims he asked her to pull the trigger. He was overcome with stress as the followers of the self-described prophet, Sherry Shriner, attacked the couple for leaving the group, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nj.com\/bergen\/2017\/07\/alien_reptile_internet_cult_played_central_role_in_nj_mans_death.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">according to Rogers.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Shriner believed that reptilian humans, the New World Order, aliens, the elite, the US government, and NATO were working together to end the world. She warned Mineo that his girlfriend was a \u201cVampire Witch Reptilian Super Soldier\u201d who was trying to kill her and who would harm him. She claimed that she had seen Roger\u2019s reptilian eyes and teeth appear in her pictures, signs she was possessed and had super strength.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWhen the demon manifested in her, if it was the demon or a lizard, if she had both, a human\u2019s no match for that kind of supernatural strength,\u201d Shriner said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">A murder trial is underway in Monroe County for Barbara Rogers, a woman accused of shooting her boyfriend. According to investigators, Rogers belonged to an online cult centered on aliens and the end of the world. <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/aUZHM3rxGn\">https:\/\/t.co\/aUZHM3rxGn<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 WNEP (@WNEP) <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WNEP\/status\/1110202146149093376?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">March 25, 2019<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>On Monday, Rogers went to court to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/wnep.com\/2019\/03\/25\/homicide-trial-woman-claims-online-alien-cult-led-to-deadly-shooting\/?utm_source=fark&amp;utm_medium=website&amp;utm_content=link&amp;ICID=ref_fark\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">face murder charges in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.<\/a> Police say Rogers shot Mineo in the head at a home near Tobyhanna in July of 2017.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nj.com\/bergen\/2017\/07\/alien_reptile_internet_cult_played_central_role_in_nj_mans_death.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>NJ.com:<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cRogers reportedly told police that Mineo was upset with members of Shriner\u2019s following, and had asked to be killed. She also told police that Mineo said Shriner was \u2018reptilian\u2019 and pretending to be human, according to a police affidavit obtained by the <em>Associated Press.<\/em>\u201c<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In the opening statements of the trial, the prosecution says the night of the shooting, Rogers, and Mineo went to a nearby bar until 2 a.m. She claimed they were not drunk, but later that night they practiced shooting his gun in the woods around their home at his suggestion. Then they went back inside, where Rogers claims Mineo held her hand on a gun as he pointed it at his head. Then she claims he told her to pull the trigger.<\/p>\n<p>In a call to 911 at 2:25 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017, Rogers said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy boyfriend had a gun. He told me to hold it here and press the trigger. Rogers could have avoided killing Mineo. He was shot in the forehead at close range, possibly directly against his head, according to court records.<\/p>\n<p>Rogers <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/wnep.com\/2019\/03\/25\/homicide-trial-woman-claims-online-alien-cult-led-to-deadly-shooting\/?utm_source=fark&amp;utm_medium=website&amp;utm_content=link&amp;ICID=ref_fark\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">declined to accept a plea deal<\/a> from the judge to accept third-degree murder charges.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Barbara Rogers arrives at Monroe Co. In the post, Rogers talked about having a craving for raw meat and steak tartare. Shriner and her followers immediately saw it as a sign that Rogers was not human but a reptilian alien.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the best thing ever with cut up minced garlic,\u201d Rogers wrote. \u201cI just crave raw meat all the time for some reason. I know some are grossed out by it. But its a delicacy for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shriner said she tried to warn Mineo about his girlfriend, but Mineo was offended. After all, he had purchased \u201corgone\u201d from Shriner, a superpowered substance she claimed would ward off reptilian humans. If Rogers were a reptile, then surely the orgone would have protected him.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201c\u2019Orgone kills them,\u2019 Mineo wrote of the mystical substance that supposedly destroys reptilians. \u2018The heavenly father knows that she\u2019s not a reptilian. We\u2019ve been friends for a long time and I always supported you. Out of all due respect, I do take offense to this.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The dispute started a rift with the Shriner group, and afterward, Mineo decided he would expose Shriner as a fraud. He uploaded videos to YouTube, in which he claimed: \u201cSherry Shriner Supporters Are Mentally Sick.\u201d In his final video, four days before his death, Mineo said angry Shriner followers were attacking them.<\/p>\n<p>After Mineo\u2019s death, Shriner created a new video explaining <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/reptile-cult-feud-over-raw-meat-ends-in-death\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">she did not believe she was leading a cult,<\/a> and that she had tried to protect Mineo.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI warned Steve Mineo she was a Vampire Witch Reptilian Super Soldier\u2026 and now he\u2019s DEAD because he wouldn\u2019t listen.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure id=\"attachment_39075\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-39075\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-39075 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ancient-code.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/SherryShriner.jpg\" alt=\"SherryShriner\" width=\"1024\" height=\"602\" title=\"Woman believed to be a reptilian alien faces murder charges after her boyfriend 'asked her to kill him' 2\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-39075\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sherry Shriner via Facebook<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>According to Rogers, her boyfriend believed it was Shriner who was a reptile.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Defendant explained that the cult centers on \u2018Aliens and raptures\u2019. Recently they became upset with Shriver. The victim believed that contrary to her appearance, Shriver was actually \u2018reptilian\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/reptile-cult-leader-says-her-follower-was-killed-by-nato\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>The Daily Beast<\/em> reported<\/a> that Mineo was the second person from the cult-like group to be killed at a young age. Five years before Mineo\u2019s death, 22-year-old Kelly Pingilley died after swallowing 30 sleeping pills. Shriner claimed that a \u201cNATO death squad\u201d killed Pingilley because she believed in the god Yahuah.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pingilley had given up going to college to work as a transcriber for Shriner\u2019s radio show <em>Aliens in the News.<\/em> After going on expeditions with Shriner to save the world from the New World Order, Pingilley committed suicide at an isolated wildlife park. Hunters found her body the next morning. She wore a pendant of orgone.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cOne week before her death in December 2012, Pingilley said the apocalypse was near. Yahuah had shown her a strange symbol, which foretold invasion by an alien race that would eat and enslave humans, she wrote.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Pingilley\u2019s brother said he worried his sister may have suffered from undiagnosed schizophrenia. Shriner said that Kelly had been trying to kill her on orders from the Obama White House, but Kelly had refused to carry out orders.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201c\u2019Obama is on the march folks if you\u2019re not with him and the Alien New Age you\u2019re against them,\u2019 she warned in the dark eulogy. \u2018They have their lists, and they\u2019re going to work on them\u2026 Kelly\u2019s death is a wake-up call that they are after Yah\u2019s people.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Steve Mineo posted Shriner\u2019s bizarre eulogy to the <em>Truth Seekers Blog<\/em> on behalf of Sherry Shriner. A few years later he would denounce the group and end up dead himself. Mineo had been a follower of Shriner since 2004.<\/p>\n<p>In January 2018, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=UAlshYohgG4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">social media posts suggest<\/a> that Shriner passed away.
