When you read texts written thousands of years ago and find them mentioning flying chariots, fire, smoke, and mysterious beings, you can\u2019t help and wonder whether or not the ancients were actually speaking about alien visitations.<\/p>\n

Authors who are usually convinced there\u2019s evidence of alien visitation written down in important works of literature such as the Bible argue that history is transmitted partially, and that important parts of ancient texts have been entirely omitted.<\/p>\n

In this article, we take a look at three important biblical characters who appear to have had contact with extraterrestrial beings during their lives.<\/p>\n

Two of them, according to the sacred text were taken away to heaven and never returned to Earth.<\/p>\n

The third one, Ezekiel, witnessed what many believe is the ultimate evidence of \u2018spaceships\u2019 coming to Earth thousands of years ago:<\/p>\n

\u201c4<\/sup>I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north\u2014an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal,\u00a0<\/em>5\u00a0<\/sup>and in the fire was what looked like four living creatures. In appearance their form was human\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Ancient Astronaut\u2026 Abductions?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The patriarch Enoch (Gen:5,18:24) and the prophet Elijah (Kings: 2 2:13) are mentioned as having been taken to the heavens.<\/p>\n

We find written evidence about how the prophet Elijah was kidnapped by \u201ca chariot of fire\u201d.<\/p>\n

As we read through these incredible historical accounts, we find countless questions with little to no answers.<\/p>\n

Where did Enoch and Elijah go? Why did they disappear mysteriously and without a trace? What exactly did Ezekiel see and describe?<\/p>\n

And is there even a remote possibility that the Bible proves\u2014in one way or another\u2014the existence of Ancient Alien Contact?<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at Enoch<\/strong> and his mysterious disappearance mentioned in Genesis 5: 18:24.<\/p>\n

We turn to Biblehub and see what was written down in the past.<\/p>\n

God Takes Up Enoch<\/strong><\/p>\n

18<\/strong>When Jared<\/a>\u00a0was<\/a>\u00a0162<\/a>years old,<\/a>\u00a0he became the father of<\/a>\u00a0Enoch.<\/a><\/p>\n

19<\/strong>And after<\/a>\u00a0he became the father of<\/a>\u00a0Enoch,<\/a>\u00a0Jared<\/a>\u00a0lived<\/a>\u00a0800<\/a>years<\/a>\u00a0and had other<\/a>\u00a0sons<\/a>\u00a0and daughters.<\/a><\/p>\n

20<\/strong>So Jared<\/a>\u00a0lived<\/a>\u00a0a total of<\/a>962<\/a>years,<\/a>\u00a0and then he died.<\/a><\/p>\n

21<\/strong>When Enoch<\/a>\u00a0was<\/a>\u00a065<\/a>years old,<\/a>\u00a0he became the father of<\/a>\u00a0Methuselah.<\/a><\/p>\n

22<\/strong>And after<\/a> he became the father of<\/a>\u00a0Methuselah,<\/a>\u00a0Enoch<\/a> walked<\/a>\u00a0with<\/a>\u00a0God<\/a>\u00a0300<\/a>years<\/a>\u00a0and had other<\/a> sons<\/a>\u00a0and daughters.<\/a><\/p>\n

23<\/strong>So Enoch<\/a>\u00a0lived<\/a>\u00a0a total of<\/a>\u00a0365<\/a>years<\/a>.<\/p>\n

24<\/strong>Enoch<\/a>\u00a0walked<\/a>\u00a0with<\/a>\u00a0God,<\/a>\u00a0and then he was no more<\/a>\u00a0because<\/a>\u00a0God<\/a>\u00a0had taken<\/a>\u00a0him away.<\/a><\/p>\n

Genesis 5: 24 is of crucial importance as it clearly mentions that God Took Enoch away. It does not mention Enoch died. It mentions he was, in some way, abducted.<\/p>\n

This is actually important because we can see in Genesis 5 3:23, that Adam, who had lived for 930 died. Seth, Adam\u2019s son lived for 912 years and died. Enosh, Seth\u2019s son, is believed to have lived for 905 years and died. All the way until Enoch, (Genesis 5:24) Adam\u2019s descendants died after living extremely longevous life\u2019s. However, Enoch did not die, as it is written down in Genesis: \u201cEnoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more because God took him away.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The question remains, where did he go? Where was Enoch taken to? And who took him away? Was it really God?<\/p>\n

Prophet <\/strong>Elijah\u2019s disappearance <\/strong><\/p>\n

If we take a look at 2 Kings\u00a0 2:13 we will find another incredible story.<\/p>\n

Again we turn towards Bible Hub to see what was written down in the past.<\/p>\n

Elijah Taken to Heaven<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

1<\/strong>Shortly before<\/a>\u00a0the LORD<\/a>\u00a0took<\/a>\u00a0Elijah<\/a>\u00a0up to heaven<\/a>\u00a0in a whirlwind,<\/a>\u00a0Elijah<\/a>\u00a0and Elisha<\/a>\u00a0were on their way<\/a>\u00a0from<\/a> Gilgal,<\/a><\/p>\n

2<\/strong>and Elijah<\/a>\u00a0said<\/a>\u00a0to<\/a> Elisha,<\/a>\u00a0\u201cPlease<\/a>\u00a0stay<\/a>\u00a0here,<\/a>\u00a0for<\/a>\u00a0the LORD<\/a>\u00a0has sent me<\/a>\u00a0on to<\/a>\u00a0Bethel.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0But Elisha<\/a>\u00a0replied,<\/a>\u00a0\u201cAs surely as the LORD<\/a>\u00a0lives<\/a>\u00a0and as you yourself<\/a> live,<\/a>\u00a0I will not<\/a>\u00a0leave you.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0So they went down<\/a> to<\/a>\u00a0Bethel.<\/a><\/p>\n

3<\/strong>Then the sons<\/a>\u00a0of the prophets<\/a>\u00a0at<\/a>\u00a0Bethel<\/a> came out<\/a>\u00a0to<\/a>\u00a0Elisha<\/a>\u00a0and said,<\/a>\u00a0\u201cDo you know<\/a> that<\/a>\u00a0the LORD<\/a>\u00a0will take<\/a>\u00a0your master<\/a>\u00a0away from<\/a>\u00a0you<\/a>\u00a0today?\u201d<\/a>\u00a0\u201cYes,<\/a>\u00a0I<\/a>\u00a0know,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0he replied.<\/a> \u201cDo not speak of it.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

4<\/strong>And Elijah<\/a>\u00a0said to<\/a> Elisha,<\/a>\u00a0\u201cPlease<\/a>\u00a0stay<\/a>\u00a0here,<\/a>\u00a0for<\/a>\u00a0the LORD<\/a>\u00a0has sent me<\/a>\u00a0on to Jericho.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0But Elisha replied,<\/a>\u00a0\u201cAs surely as the LORD<\/a>\u00a0lives<\/a>\u00a0and as you yourself<\/a> live,<\/a>\u00a0I will not<\/a>\u00a0leave you.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0So they went<\/a>\u00a0to Jericho.<\/a><\/p>\n

5<\/strong>Then the sons<\/a>\u00a0of the prophets<\/a>\u00a0at Jericho<\/a>\u00a0came up<\/a> to<\/a>\u00a0Elisha<\/a>\u00a0and said,<\/a>\u00a0\u201cDo you know<\/a>\u00a0that<\/a>\u00a0the LORD<\/a>\u00a0will take<\/a>\u00a0your master<\/a>\u00a0away from<\/a>\u00a0you<\/a> today?\u201d<\/a>\u00a0\u201cYes,<\/a>\u00a0I<\/a>\u00a0know,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0he replied.<\/a>\u00a0\u201cDo not speak of it.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

6<\/strong>And Elijah<\/a>\u00a0said<\/a>\u00a0to Elisha,<\/a>\u00a0\u201cPlease<\/a>\u00a0stay<\/a>\u00a0here,<\/a>\u00a0for<\/a>\u00a0the LORD<\/a>\u00a0has sent me<\/a>\u00a0on to the Jordan.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0But Elisha replied,<\/a> \u201cAs surely as the LORD<\/a>\u00a0lives<\/a>\u00a0and as you<\/a> yourself live,<\/a>\u00a0I will not<\/a>\u00a0leave you.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0So the two of them<\/a>\u00a0went on.<\/a><\/p>\n

7<\/strong>Then a company<\/a>\u00a0of fifty<\/a>\u00a0of the sons<\/a>\u00a0of the prophets<\/a>\u00a0went<\/a>\u00a0and stood<\/a>\u00a0at a distance,<\/a>\u00a0facing Elijah and Elisha<\/a>\u00a0as the two<\/a>\u00a0of them stood<\/a>\u00a0by<\/a> the Jordan.<\/a><\/p>\n

8<\/strong>And Elijah<\/a>\u00a0took<\/a>\u00a0his cloak,<\/a>\u00a0rolled it up,<\/a>\u00a0and struck<\/a>\u00a0the waters,<\/a>\u00a0which parted<\/a>\u00a0to the right<\/a>\u00a0and to the left<\/a>\u00a0so that the two<\/a>\u00a0of them crossed over<\/a>\u00a0on dry ground.<\/a><\/p>\n

9<\/strong>After<\/a>\u00a0they had crossed over,<\/a>\u00a0Elijah<\/a>\u00a0said<\/a>\u00a0to<\/a>\u00a0Elisha,<\/a>\u00a0\u201cTell me,<\/a> what<\/a>\u00a0can I do<\/a>\u00a0for you<\/a>\u00a0before<\/a>\u00a0I am taken away<\/a> from you?\u201d<\/a>\u00a0\u201cPlease,<\/a>\u00a0let<\/a>\u00a0me inherit<\/a>\u00a0a double<\/a> portion<\/a>\u00a0of your spirit,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0Elisha<\/a>\u00a0replied.<\/a><\/p>\n

10<\/strong>\u201cYou have requested<\/a>\u00a0a difficult thing,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0said Elijah.<\/a>\u00a0\u201cNevertheless, if<\/a>\u00a0you see<\/a> me<\/a>\u00a0as I am taken<\/a>\u00a0from you,<\/a>\u00a0it will be<\/a>\u00a0yours.<\/a> But if<\/a>\u00a0not,<\/a>\u00a0then it will not<\/a>\u00a0be so.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

11<\/strong>As they<\/a>\u00a0were walking along<\/a>\u00a0and talking together,<\/a>\u00a0suddenly<\/a>\u00a0a chariot<\/a> of fire<\/a>\u00a0with horses<\/a>\u00a0of fire<\/a>\u00a0appeared and separated<\/a>\u00a0the two of them,<\/a>\u00a0and Elijah<\/a>\u00a0went up<\/a> into heaven<\/a>\u00a0in a whirlwind.<\/a><\/p>\n

12<\/strong>As Elisha<\/a>\u00a0watched,<\/a>\u00a0he<\/a>\u00a0cried out,<\/a>\u00a0\u201cMy father,<\/a>\u00a0my father,<\/a>\u00a0the chariots<\/a>\u00a0and horsemen<\/a>\u00a0of Israel!\u201d<\/a>\u00a0And he saw Elijah<\/a>\u00a0no<\/a> more.<\/a>\u00a0So taking hold<\/a>\u00a0of his own clothes,<\/a>\u00a0he tore them<\/a>\u00a0in two.<\/a><\/p>\n

The above information can be interpreted in a number of ways.<\/p>\n

From an ancient Astronaut point of view, it seems clear that we may just have read about misinterpreted technologies. Things that people thousands of years ago did not understand, and therefore attributed to God the Almighty.<\/p>\n

From a Biblical point of view, however, there are important details to consider.<\/p>\n

Why did Enoch disappear?<\/p>\n

Why was he taken from Earth? He did not die, so where did he go?<\/p>\n

In order to answer these questions, Biblical scholars argue we must keep in mind that this specific patriarch is the seventh on the list of descendants of Adam.<\/p>\n

The number seven is a symbolic figure in the Bible that means \u201cperfection.\u201d According to Biblestudy.org<\/a><\/strong>,<\/p>\n

Used 735 times (54 times in the book of Revelation alone), the number 7 is the foundation of God\u2019s word. If we include with this count how many times \u2018sevenfold\u2019 (6) and \u2018seventh\u2019 (119) is used, our total jumps to 860 references. Seven is the number of completeness and perfection (both physical and spiritual). It derives much of its meaning from being tied directly to God\u2019s creation of all things. According to some Jewish traditions, the creation of Adam occurred on September 26, 3760 B.C. (or the first day of Tishri, which is the seventh month on the Hebrew calendar). The word \u2018created\u2019 is used 7 times describing God\u2019s creative work (Genesis 1:1, 21, 27 three times; 2:3; 2:4). There are 7 days in a week and God\u2019s Sabbath is on the 7th day.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It is believed that those who composed the genealogical list of descendants of Adam, were the priests of Jerusalem, who were extremely attached to symbolism, which is why they gave great importance to numbers and the study of numerology.<\/p>\n

The Seventh Patriarch was someone who needed to be in a certain way perfect, clean, which is why God is said to have taken Enoch to the heavens so that he would not contaminate himself with the wickedness of man on Earth.<\/p>\n

The story of Prophet Elijah may be even more fascinating. As the story tells us, when Elijah foresaw that his death was near, he walked on the banks of the Jordan River in the company of his disciple Elisha.<\/p>\n

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a heavenly chariot with horses of fire descended from the sky, picked up Elijah and disappeared in the sky, before the amazement of Elisha and others who witnessed the otherworldly phenomenon.<\/p>\n
