This is Friendship Seven. I\u2019ll try to describe what I\u2019m in here. I am in a big mass of some very small particles, that are brilliantly lit up like they\u2019re luminescent. I never saw anything like it. They round a little; they\u2019re coming by the capsule, and they look like little stars. A whole shower of them coming by.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Check out this amazing audio file where we can hear the amazement of Astronaut John Glenn\u00a0after his capsule is surrounded by countless, strange UFOs.<\/p>\n

This audio transmission can easily be described as one of the most amazing pieces of evidence of a mysterious extraterrestrial presence during manned missions to space.<\/p>\n

This old audio file lets you listen into a small part of the conversation between the Mercury-Atlas 6 (MA-6) capsule piloted by John Glenn and CAPCOM, on the 20th of February, 1962, the first manned orbital mission of the United States.<\/p>\n

Launched from Kennedy Space Center, Fla., he completed a successful three-orbit mission around the earth, reaching a maximum altitude (apogee) of approximately 162 statute miles and an orbital velocity of approximately 17,500 miles per hour. Glenn\u2019s \u201cFriendship 7\u201d Mercury spacecraft<\/a><\/strong> landed approximately 800 miles southeast of KSC in the vicinity of Grand Turk Island. Mission duration from launch to impact was 4 hours, 55 minutes, and 23 seconds.<\/p>\n

In the audio file, Mr. Glenn referred to his capsule as Friendship 7 and can be heard describing seeing a \u201cbrilliant blue horizon\u201d coming up behind him as it approaches sunrise.<\/p>\n

Then, he suddenly realizes something peculiar is happening all around him, as he is \u2018intercepted\u2019 by countless\u00a0UFOs which engulfed his capsule.<\/p>\n

Here is the transcript of the event:<\/strong><\/p>\n

John Glenn<\/strong>: This is Friendship Seven. It\u2019s blinding through the scope on clear. It\u2019s started up just as I gave you that mark; I\u2019m going to the dark filter to watch it come on up.<\/p>\n

CAPCOM<\/strong>: Roger.<\/p>\n

John Glenn<\/strong>:\u00a0This is Friendship Seven. I\u2019ll try to describe what I\u2019m in here. I am in a big mass of some very small particles, that are brilliantly lit up like they\u2019re luminescent. I never saw anything like it. They round a little; they\u2019re coming by the capsule, and they look like little stars. A whole shower of them coming by.<\/p>\n

John Glenn<\/strong>: They swirl around the capsule and go in front of the window and they\u2019re all brilliantly lighted. They probably average maybe 7 or 8 feet apart, but I can see them all down below me, also.<\/p>\n

Intrigued by the events, CAPCOM asked Glenn to describe the objects, and whether they were impacting\u00a0his spacecraft.<\/p>\n

CAPCOM<\/strong>:\u00a0 Roger, Friendship Seven. Can you hear any impact with the capsule? Over.<\/p>\n

John Glenn<\/strong>: Negative, negative. They\u2019re very slow; they\u2019re not going away from me more than maybe 3 or 4 miles per hour. They\u2019re going at the same speed I am approximately. They\u2019re only very slightly under my speed. Over.<\/p>\n

John Glenn<\/strong>: They do, they do have a different motion, though, from me because they swirl around the capsule and then depart back the way I am looking.<\/p>\n

John Glenn<\/strong>: Are you receiving? Over.<\/p>\n

John Glenn<\/strong>: There are literally thousands of them.<\/p>\n

After having described the objects Glenn gets no response from CAPCOM and asks if he is in contact with anyone while continuing to discuss the strange objects around his spacecraft.<\/p>\n

John Glenn<\/strong>:\u00a0 This is Friendship Seven. Am I in contact with anyone? Over.<\/p>\n

Eventually, nearly five minutes after describing the events, CAPCOM responds, saying that Glenn sounded a little \u201cgarbled\u201d, and is asked what his oxygen levels were.<\/p>\n

Strangely, CAPCOM did not address the strange events with Glenn, who explains that the mystery particles are still around the spacecraft.<\/p>\n

After realizing CAPCOM is not answering Glenn decided to photograph the mystery objects.<\/p>\n

Then, he is asked by CAPCOM how big the particles were and whether they moved by or floated with him.<\/p>\n

CAPCOM suggested that the particles may have come from the spacecraft, but Mr. Glenn said this was not the case.<\/p>\n

Curiously, after Friendship seven\u2019s successful orbit, another astronaut on board the\u00a0Aurora 7 capsule,\u00a0Scott Carpenter, also saw the mystery objects in space.<\/p>\n

NASA scientists eventually looked into the mystery sighing and concluded that the objects seen in space were just ice particles caught by sunlight.<\/p>\n

NASA claimed that ice had accumulated on the outside of the capsule and that what the two astronauts saw were free-floating Ice particles.<\/p>\n

However, Mr. Glenn wasn\u2019t convinced by the explanation. During his second orbit, he reported seeing the objects again for miles in each direction.<\/p>\n
