{"id":3921927,"date":"2025-09-15T09:03:09","date_gmt":"2025-09-15T14:03:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mikedyess.info\/para\/mysterious-alien-signals-are-triggered-every-second-in-the-universe\/"},"modified":"2025-09-15T09:03:09","modified_gmt":"2025-09-15T14:03:09","slug":"mysterious-alien-signals-are-triggered-every-second-in-the-universe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/mikedyess.info\/para\/mysterious-alien-signals-are-triggered-every-second-in-the-universe\/","title":{"rendered":"Mysterious \u201calien signals\u201d are triggered every second in the Universe"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>According to a study by scientists from the\u00a0Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA), fast radio bursts that could be \u2018signals from advanced alien civilizations\u2019 are firing off every second in our universe.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Astronomers have only found a couple of dozen FRBs (Fast Radio Bursts), and they still have not understood what causes these rapid and powerful radio broadcast bursts.<\/p>\n<p>Some say its aliens, while others say it\u2019s a combination of different cosmic phenomena that are yet to be identified, but the truth is, we honestly don\u2019t know what causes them.<\/p>\n<p>Now, for the first time ever, two astronomers at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA) have estimated how many FRBs should occur throughout the observable universe.<\/p>\n<p>Their work indicates that at least one FRB is produced somewhere in the cosmos every second.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf we are right about such a high percentage of FRBs occurring at any given time, you can imagine the sky is filled with flashes like paparazzi taking photos of a celebrity,\u201d said Anastasia Fialkov of the CfA, who led the study.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInstead of the light we can observe with our own eyes, these enigmatic flashes come in radio waves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In order to come to this conclusion\u2014which many are findings surprising\u2014Fialkov and co-author Avi Loeb assumed that FRB 121102, a rapid radio burst located in a galaxy about 3 billion light-years from Earth, is \u2018representative\u2019 of all FRBs in the cosmos.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_25697\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-25697\" style=\"width: 846px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-25697\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ancient-code.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/FRBs-700x432-1.jpg\" alt=\"FRBs 700x432 1\" width=\"846\" height=\"522\" title='Mysterious \"alien signals\" are triggered every second in the Universe 1'><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-25697\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>The blue dots in this artist\u2019s impression of the filamentary structure of galaxies that extends across the entire sky are the supposed signals from FRBs.
